Context

Imagine Architecteurs and SISPEO are two companies located on the same premises, and the owners co-manage both firms. As a result, when working for one company, we often take on projects for the other as well. However, since my contract is with SISPEO, I will focus specifically on this company.

SISPEO Architectes is a hub of diverse thinking, spanning various building fields such as school facilities, early childhood, market halls, cultural and service facilities, housing, heritage and co-ownership, tertiary, urban planning, civil engineering, and more.

They don't just follow a style; they uphold a unique philosophy: each project is a distinct narrative waiting to be told.

At SISPEO, we understand the importance of balance. We carefully consider and harmonize three key axes in our projects: location, expectations, and technology.

The formal variety of the projects, which is a direct result of their unique approach, is a testament to adaptability and creativity. Each project, whether a school facility, a market hall, or a housing complex, is a distinct entity with its character and narrative. A general ethic emerges throughout the operations: listening, integration, constructive sincerity, refined form, and ecological commitment.

Their values: faced with a professional world that is changing at high speed, they favour the team's stability, develop a corporate culture, and constantly update their knowledge through exchanges, training and sharing of experiences.

My work

As a junior architect at the company, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that allowed me to expand my skills and experience. One of my main responsibilities involved the redevelopment of a facade and the redevelopment of a luxury penthouse, where I focused on enhancing its aesthetic appeal and functionality. Additionally, I contributed to the design and development of a vibrant market, paying special attention to the layout to maximize foot traffic and create an inviting atmosphere for shoppers. I also contributed to the design of a three-story office building, collaborating with the team to ensure the space met the needs of modern businesses while adhering to architectural standards and sustainability practices. Each project provided valuable challenges that enriched my journey as an architect.
